What Are You Looking At? commended at Women Over 50 Film Festival September 2023

 

Another laurel for 'What are you looking at?' as the short documentary by Liberty Smith about Angela coming out as a blind painter, is shortlisted and screened at The Depot, Lewes before being commended in Best Documentary category 

 

 

 

 

Collaboration with Bjork Haraldsdottir supported by Arts Council England March 2023

 

These architectural pots are the result of Angela Charles collaboration with artist Bjork Haraldsdottir. Bjork created two fantastic large ceramic pots for Angela to glaze. As a visually impaired artist using glazes for the first time this created many challenges all of which Angela embraced. 

This collaborative work was made possible by Arts Council Englands 'Developing Your Creative Practice' 12 month funding ending in March 2023

What Are You Looking At? film selected for screening at Doc NYC 2022

 

What Are You Looking At? short documentary film by Liberty Smith about Angela Charles coming out as a blind painter has been selected to be shown in the Doc NYC festival in November. This is an honour as it is America's largest documentary festival.
